Best of works of Tib-ong Mangkas Art Group (TMAG) need to be discovered and promoted for the artists to become motivated, encouraged to excel more in their artistic skills.
Recently formed group of artists who are residents of La Carlota City joined the Agro-Trade Fair of La Carlota Pasalamat festival.
Best Crafts
They displayed their best art crafts, paintings and relief sculpturing in their humble booth. They were as follows:
TMAG is composed of four natives of Mangkas. They're Abraham Obero, 35; Alfred Chavez, 35; Raffie Salazar, 29; and Redmond Nazareno, 25.
The Artists
Abraham specializes in landscape painting. Alfred does best in miniature modeling. Raffie paints well flowers in drum. Redmond sculps using clay as his medium.
Abraham gets his painting skill from his friends. Alfred since his childhood likes to draw. Raffie develops his interest in drawing flowers when he was still a kinder pupil. Redmond acquires his artistic skill from his father who is an accomplished poster-maker, streamer designer and lettering.
The Exhibits
This Agro-Trade Fair or Exhibits pave the way for them for their artworks to be discovered and later their artworks be promoted. Thus, they believe their group could be the venue for them to grow artistically, and economically.
