Learner's issues on his profile like wrong spelling of names, incomplete middle name, double LRN, among others are the common tasks usually effected during housekeeping before finalization of school statistics on end of the school year (EOSY) for a particular school year.
Sometime in 2012, learner reference number (LRN) was introduced for every pupil officially enrolled in the public elementary and high schools. And every school is required by the Department of Education to enroll their pupils online through Learner Information System website.
Issues mentioned above couldn't be avoided nor perfected by every school. Before the end of the school yearand before the submission of government elementary and high school profile to be finalized, LIS is activating its facility for housekeeping activity to make corrections on learner profil, corrections on LRN, corrections on .
Six Easy steps to make corrections to learner's profile at LIS
1. The teacher-adviser logs in to LIS SITE, using his OWN username and the password.
2. He proceeds to his masterlist and clicks the profile of a learner with some corrections.
3. He clicks the three-dotted icon next to a pencil icon of the Learner and selects the appropriate corrections to make.
4. He indicates the purpose of correction on remarks box. Then he indicates at the respective profile's data to be corrected and clicks continue.
5. Prompted by this: "Review and ensure provided information are accurate before submitting this request,” he may click revise or submit request. Take note of those data with an asterisk (*) which should be given attention.
6. If there's none to update or he’s done, the change request with corresponding # appears. He clicks the close button or otherwise, click cancel request button..
Now he’s DONE. To check it, he clicks “Data Corrections” then clicks “Change Requests” and this is what he sees.
Those things are pending, waiting for the approval of the school head. When the school head opes the school LIS, he will review those pending request for his approval or disapproval. The school head will have to check the documents and other related legal supporting papers to validate the request for corrections.
That's all folks.
Hope this suffices on your needs to make corrections of your learner's profile and other enrollment issues.
Good luck!
