Christmas time is already in the small city of La Carlota. It has kicked off by the opening of lights for this year's Christmas Festival of lights.
A great number of people from all walks of life thronged at the public plaza to witness the momentous opening of this yuletide festivity.
Lights are pervading the entire plaza. They are illuminating all standing trees there assigned to respective government agencies, schools, and civic organizations. It pays to stay there with all the family members to be entertained by the songs and dances of various Christmas songs medley every night.
Lollyland in La Carlota
This year's Christmas motif for the La Carlota Festival of Lights is bringing everyone to the Lollyland where there are candies, candy canes, lollipops, cupcakes, and sweets. These sweet stuffs are in their gigantic sizes as they add attractiveness to the facade of the city hall, the edifice of the City Mayor and the City Council.
Thus, they make the City of La Carlota sweet in 2018 Christmas seasons.

Two life-size Santa Claus statues with a reindeer or two beside him, are placed at the entrance of City Mayor's building and also in the facade of the City Council building, lounging for the kids and adults for a picture taking.
