This is what our country needs. I hope folks here in Manila can do the same.
ReplyDeleteLet's absolutely bring back the greening of our environment, especially our forest protected area. No one could ever help us than ourselves. Spiritually speaking, God helps those who help themselves.
DeleteIt's good to see that a lot of youths get exposed to nature activities like tree planting. It's one way of teaching them its benefits and importance. :)
ReplyDeleteYou hit the mark. There are a lot of benefits in tree planting.
DeleteIt is nice to know that the youth are exposed to this kind of activity at such a young age.

I missed tree planting activities, I was once a member of Junior Ecologist Movement way back in highschool. We had a tree planting activity once in a month in different places.
ReplyDeleteIt is better late than never. Star all over again. Join with this environment and even life-saving activity be sponsored by any organization, agency or group.
DeleteWhen I was a student, i love joining tree planting activities since it was fulfilling being part of protecting the future via tree planting.
ReplyDeleteYou're absolutely correct, Franc. May your thrive prosper!
DeleteThese photos reminded me of my tree planting days in high school. That was lots of fun even though it was really hot. :D
ReplyDeletePatience and sacrifice make this activity worth participating and challenging.
DeleteThe task itself may have been a little difficult but I'm sure the sense of fulfillment in doing something good for the environment more than compensates for it.
ReplyDeleteLife is not a life after all if those who enjoy it will not sacrifice everything they have had.
DeleteI never joined a tree planting event before. I want to participate in this good cause :)
ReplyDeleteJust keep in touch with DENR, DepEd or whichever seems to practical for you for this is a nature and life saving activity if you will.
DeleteI've experienced this once before. I'm so happy that a lot of people are willing to join too :)
ReplyDeleteIt is good to hear that you've participated. The PH government has already launching a 1 Billion Trees Project as a part of the national greening program.
DeleteI love attending to tree planting projects and activities. It's good to know that we have done our part in conserving the environment.
ReplyDeleteI know you are aware that in your active participation in such project, you have already helped serving not only the environment but in saving everyone's life.
Deletenice to know, endemic trees where planted..
ReplyDeletehere I was about to go ballistic, especially that DENR is involved in this project.
Kanlaon Park, nice one! knowing that Kanlaon is actually one of my dream climbs. :)
Well, that's good to hear from you for your plan to go explore our Kanlaon. I am sure you will find it more challenging, especially when you reach the top or the crater of Kanlaon.
DeleteIts very fulfilling to join activities for a cause like this. Our country needs more trees planted and more cause oriented individuals to make this happen.
ReplyDeleteThis is indeed a very good deed worth emulating by many of us. I believe that the global warming can still be reversed if and when we plant more trees and only be cut in due time.
ReplyDeleteWhat these people did will the next generation reaps. How many trees po ang naitanim lahat?
