How To Solve Non-display of EBEIS Side Bar

by Gil Camporazo

All public and private elementary and secondary schools and even state universities are required to submit online their statistics for processing and validation to improve the Enhanced Basic Education Information System (EBEIS) of the Department of Education (DepEd) for school year 2014-2015.

For the public elementary and secondary schools, the cut-off date for data collection, processing and validation is June 6, 2014.

Problem Encountered

Some schools have reported to the closed group of Learner Information System Helpdesk, School Forms Reenginerring Team (SFRT), and EBEIS Helpdesk that they couldn't effect their updating tasks which will be due on August 31 for encoding and submission, validation on September 1 - 12, 2014, the non-display of their EBEIS left side bar which displays the basic button like EBEIS Data Entry.

Solution

Contact your respective Division Planning Officer (DPO) to add a school system admin in your LIS. The School Head should be used as the system head. Then the requesting school's LIS has "administration" displayed and enabled. And the problem is solved. The EBEIS basic button for data entry could now be accessed and opened for data processing.

Simple Tutorial

After the DPO has opened the school account in his/her account using his/her own username and password and successfully added the school system admin, the school may now do the following steps:

1. Log in to LIS.-

2. Click the EBEIS button (rectangle).

3. Click Sign In button.

4. Click BEIS Data Entry.

5. Click Government Elementary School Profile (Beginning of the SY Date)

6. Click the date below the "Cut-off Date" column.

7. Then proceed to supply the need data especially in the box with asterisk. Continue to the rest of boxes until Disaster/Calamities. Don't forget to click save every task done.

Following this kind activity religiously, without reservation, the DepEd will have the needed data and information "for planning and budgeting, allocation of resources an setting operational targets to provide all the learners access to complete quality basic education."
